Website Focuses on New Organizing Tools, Making it Easier for Missourians, Organizers, and Activists to Get Involved
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Missouri Democratic Party is today launching its new website, which is designed to harness the unprecedented levels of grassroots enthusiasm around the State by providing new organizing tools for the growing number of Missourians looking to engage in Democratic politics.
Among other features, the website includes a new county-by-county map to help connect individuals with local Democratic clubs and organizations in their communities. The website will also serve as a central hub for finding out about Democratic events happening around the state, and allows individuals to sign up for the Missouri Democratic Party’s “Show Me Truth Team,” which is the Party’s new grassroots social media team to combat misinformation and dishonesty from Republicans in the digital space.
Additionally, the site highlights the email address Run@MissouriDems.org, a go-to resource for all candidates, potential candidates, and individuals who have helpful tips for recruiting Democratic candidates in their community.
“We’ve been traveling to every corner of Missouri listening and talking to countless concerned Missourians, including many who have previously stayed out of politics, but are now asking: ‘How can I get involved?'” stated Missouri Democratic Party Chair Stephen Webber. “That’s exactly why this website puts our grassroots supporters front and center by making it easier than ever before for Missourians to get involved and stay engaged, as Missouri Democrats continue to fight for progress on behalf of working families.”
